Dr. Korine Kolivras, an associate professor in the geography department at Virginia Tech, is a broadly-trained environmental geographer who specializes in medical geography and the examination of climate and health relationships. Primary research interests lie in the study of social and environmental factors related to disease emergence using quantitative methods and geographic information systems (GIS).
